C. S. Lewis called Psalm 19 “the greatest poem in the Psalter and one of the greatest lyrics in the world.”

God reveals himself in His creation, and in His word.

Questions for personal reflection or group discussion

1. Where in creation have you experienced God most powerfully?

2. What are some of the things we can know about God from creation alone?

3. Where in creation do you see marks of an intelligent designer?

4. What would you say to the person who says they don’t need organized religion because they find God in nature?

5. Of the four things scripture does (refreshes, makes wise, brings joy, and gives light/direction) which are you most in need of right now and why?

6. Do you find it easy or hard to find time to spend in scripture each day?

7. During the times when you are able to read the Bible, what do you find most valuable? Most difficult?
