“He/she is down to earth.”
This phrase if often used to positively describe someone that is unassuming, easy to relate to, and gets along with everyone.
Using that connotation, Jesus was “down to earth”! He was easy to relate to, met people where they were, didn’t judge others, and people longed to hang around Him. At Christmas, we could say that Jesus came “down to earth”. Not as a King in a castle, but as a baby born in a barn. Humble. Relatable. Accessible. Join us in December as we explore these “down to earth” attributes of Jesus.
