Maturity is a natural part of life. We assume infants will grow up to become adults. We expect acorns to mature into oak trees. We assume that apple seeds will grow trees that bear fruit. We expect everything that has life to mature. Without growth children never grow up to be adults and disciples never grow up and mature to become like Christ. Maturity is a big deal. And if growth doesn’t happen something is wrong.

We will study a letter to the Christians in Ephesus. A letter, stuff by most, is a complete description of the life of the Church:
“we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.”
